Loved being able to have green chile back in my life. The order was received promptly and still solidly frozen. Love the resealable one pound bags. Only issue is the Medium flavor tastes like mild with an occasional piece of hot chile.
Chile was under roasted/Lacked the right flavor
Chile was lacking in flavor - Hate to give this review but the Chile seemed to be very under roasted and lacked that rich flavor of NM roasted GC.
Was disappointed
Was disappointed. Chilies must have been MILD. Would also have like if chilies were chopped a little finer. Will be ordering some hot in the near future. We consume around 20 pounds of fresh / frozen chilies a year. We lost over 20 pounds when our freezer died while we were on vacation. We used to visit family in Las Cruces, every other year and load up, but age and ability to drive long distance has hampered this. Thanks Stephen Watson

The chile was milder than expected
The chile was milder than expected. It was very watery. The taste was just okay. For the price I will not be buying again. Yes am a 20 plus years consumer of green chile but this product falls short of myexpectations for it's cost.
Great flavor. Way too much water.
The frozen chiles I got are delicious. Shipping was impressive. Even at this time of year they arrived still frozen. Only problem is the amount of water in the package. After thawing they are at least 50% water. I certainly expect them to be wet with some water in the package but it seemed excessive.

Although I freeze my green chilies and sometime I have them in my freezer for longer than I anticipate...I was disappointed that these chilies were frozen from 11/23. I must say that the came fully frozen and your packaging is amazing. This will not deter me from purchasing more from you in the future, but I would think if you are selling things 1-1/2 years old; a) that option would be made apparent to the buyer and b) offer a bigger discount.

Love the Hatch Chili products. They have great flavor and match nicely with a large variety of foods. I have ordered several times from them and I appreciate their fast shipping and great products. I want to give everything a try, but a little at a time is all I can do since I’m the only one using them. I love the Hatch 575 on my burgers, both the red and the green. Give them a try if you’re looking for something new to kick your meals up a notch.

What can I say?? Frozen, chopped and peeled after roasted and frozen in one pound bags. So easy!!! So tasty!! Ian eating green chili burgers to my heart’s content!!

Since moving away from Colorado. I can no longer just go buy a bushel of roasted chilis so this had been my go to. And I don't have to spend hours cleaning them! Great for making my famous Colorado green chili.
The way they came packaged was amazing. We got five individual packs with about four or five chilies in each pack and they were still frozen! We ordered the mild and cannot wait to try one pack today.
My order arrived late and I lost all $130.00 plus cost of freight as they were rotten and full of mold rendering them useless.

Hatch produces the best green chiles out there, bar none. And, the chiles from FCC come in very convenient 1 lb frozen bags so we can use them as we need them. Buy them early because they sell out very quickly.

Better Than Fresh
Having frozen Hatch chilies in the freezer is so convenient. They are readily available for any recipe and you don’t have to worry about them going bad before you use them. They come in handy 1-pound packs and were delivered to the house packed in dry ice so they stayed frozen. This is a great product from a great company that truly believes in customer service.

I wish I could have known how they tasted to give a fair review but the frozen green chiles arrived completely thawed on the third day so they were thrown away. Then a replacement order was sent but the arrival time is now 6 days so those will be tossed as well. So sad and such a waste of yummy NM green chiles but kudos to The Fresh Chile Company for refunding my money. Thank you... so sorry it didn't work out.

Roasted Hatch green chili
I made a South West Black Bean Smoked Pulled Pork chili stew. I started off with a 8lb Pork Butt. Smoked for 14hrs. The roasted green Hatch chili was wonderful. It added just the right amount chili flavor and enough heat to make everybody smile. It was a hit. Thanks for a wonderful chili.

I usually get fresh and roast them but was in the process of moving. The frozen medium hot are great. Just miss that wonderful aroma of roasting chiles - best "incense" in the world, IMO.

I ordered the medium green chili. The taste was great and even for medium they were kinda spicy (which is a good thing since they were out of stock on the hot). My only complaint was they don't de-seed the chilies. You take the time to roast, peel and chop but not to de-seed?

Unfortunately I cannot review the frozen whole chilies yet and I’m getting kinda concerned. I ordered one box #66282 on 9/25 and have still not received them. I got two notifications they were being sent and they got canceled. I don’t know if I’ll order any more if this is going to be the standard customer service. I had previously sent really good review prior to this mix up but now I don’t know. I really like the product but I don’t know if it’s worth the hassle. As of this date 11/17 I don’t know if I’ll ever get my order #66282 frozen whole chilies.

I've always used frozen, if it's not available to be fresh. If done at home, I'd highly suggest vacuum sealing bags with smaller portions. It defrosts in warm water quickly.

Costco sells frozen green chile (peeled and chopped, chile only without salt or garlic or anything) both in a giant block and in a pack of convenient smallish pouches. The little pouches are just about the perfect amount for a pepperoni pizza or 2 cheeseburgers.
