Hot chili was not at all hot.

My whole family loves the true hot Hatch chile
My whole family loves the true hot Hatch chile ,, I prefer the frozen chopped
Fresh Frozen is the Best
I love this Chile. Green Chile with kick is why I bought the "hot" and I am not disappointed. The chiles are thick but tender and are of the highest quality. I am done doing the roasting and peeling...these are way better than I can find and do myself. I am a forever customer.
We really do love it! Getting some more of it
Love these things.
Every year in August I go to my local grocery store and buy three bushels of roasted hatch chiles. Then process and freeze them. Not doing that anymore - I will buy these. Much less work and so tasty.
These. ROCK.
I love this product so much. Makes it so easy to whip up a batch of anything, no roasting, peeling, or chopping required, but itβs just as good as when I do all that myself. Except I donβt have to! Yay!!!!
Wonderful
This is some of the best green chili besides fresh that I have had.Used to live in New Mexico where I could get the chili everyday.since moving back to TX I cannot do that so to be able to get it online is wonderful. Will definitely be ordering from this do.again
Hatch hot
Love Hatch..Fresh Chili chopped and packaged is so good!!
I'm hoping they like them. I bought them as a gift.
Perfect green chiles.

They are amazing... As good as the fresh
I love the frozen Chiles, I would love to get the freeze dried Fiesta Salsa and the freeze dried chopped green Chiles I ordered and paid for on the 20th of last month. They still have not arrived!
Great buy!
The frozen Chile arrived still frozen solid No concerns about safety. The quality is excellent and the flavor everything I had hoped for. Thank you!
Fresh Chile Co NEVER disappoints!!
I've been ordering from Fresh Chile Co for a couple years now and have never been disappointed with the service or products.
YUMMY
I donβt get home to Las Cruces very often and itβs been a long time since Iβve been around during chile season where you get 40lbs of green roasted bagged and brought home or a ristra of red to take home soak sieve and jar red sauce..I miss it so much but the Fresh Chile Co sends me frozen green and jars of red that remind me of home and WOW the flavor is authenticβ¦Iβm so happy I found the Fresh Chile Co and PSYCHED that they bring flavor and home to me!!! Very grateful thank you π so much 5 βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
Hatch, green chili hot
The chili was not completely frozen. I am mediately put it in the freezer and I will try it sooner than later. Hopefully it did not go bad.
Excellent Quality

Frozen chili
Already had green chili stew and it was great
great peppers
Just made my best green chile with pork. I wouldn't mind if it was hotter, but the flavor is wonderful. I have no negatives whatsoever. Well, it is kind of pricey, but that's the way it goes, I guess. I will definitely be buying more.
Disappointed
The "Hot" chopped green chile I ordered is very "Mild". No heat at all and very little flavor.

Easy Green Chile
Very good quality chile.
Great memories
It is very delicious and just the right amount of heat. Reminds me when my mom would make chili when we lived in New Mexico. Thank you so much.
Need the chile chopped
Th the reason I only gave it 3 stars is because I ordered chile chopped and what I receied was whole. My first order was correct & perfect. How can I make sure I get it chopped in future orders? I am on a monthly contract.
Mr
Chile is fantastic. Getting an email from you daily is not.
Worth every penny.
I love these - it's SO much easier than roasting and peeling and cleaning and chopping them myself, and they're certainly fresher (since I live in Nebraska!). Fantastic product.
I love Hatch chilies.
They have flavor they are cooked perfectly. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is when these peppers are thawed and the liquids are drained you do not get 1# per package. It's between 12-13 ounces on average. And for what the cost is plus shipping, that discovery was unfortunate.
Just as expected.
Yum
Made the best green chile!
Arrived safe
They are excellent..will order again!
AMAZING
These are my favorite!!!
Green Chile Fix
I appreciated the emails to let me know when they would arrive. As always they were beautiful. I only wish they would be willing to sell me a box with half med and half hot. When I called they told me that they were not able to do that.
Not hot at all
The flavor is just okay. I ordered hot, and whatever I received was not even close. It's mild at best. The medium 505 chile in a jar is hotter than whatever this is. I spent a TON of money to get hot green chile and received mild green chile. Never again.
Fantastic
My package arrived totally frozen! Which is a good thing. Made some Green chili pork stew and it was fabulous! These chilies are the best!

Cant rate this as i havent tasted it yet but sure wish you would bring back the xtra hot frozen chile. That was just right for us.
Roasted Green Chile
I was born and raised in New Mexico, now I live in Ohio, when I moved here I could not find green Chile as good tasting as Hatch green Chile. I was happy to find your place on my website, happy I did, now I can enjoy eating your green Chile again, and already roasted pilled and chopped!!! I will keep ordering it from you, Thanks!!!
Hatch frozen green Chile!!!
I Love your frozen chili, I was running low on the Chile so I had to restock. I live in Ohio but I canβt find green Chile as tasteful as hatch . When I start running out again, Iβll order more, thatβs for sure. Thanks!!!!
Hot green chili
Perfect
great
love the chiles in posale and breakfast burritoes
Love the green!
Very convenient and good roasted and peeled green chile. I ran out of the chile I roasted and this fits the bill until next harvest.
love it.
Much happier with the whole peppers than chopped. Chopped didn't seem to have the heat & flavor of the whole ones.
Yummy
I really enjoyed the freshness, flavor and color of the green Chile. It arrived on time and was still frozen solid. The only reason for 4 stars was the heat. I ordered "hot" but it had very little heat to it. I'm from Roswell and I grew up eating hot Chile. I live in NC now, and it's really hard to get green Chile here. This was really good but I'm looking for xx-hot. I will order again sometime.
The best Chile
Hatch green Chile is the best. So glad you provide this option for those of us who no longer live in NM. Very delicious tasking Chile, even without the salt and garlic.
Good
Quick delivery, fresh chile's.
Awesome Again!
Iβm a repeat repeat repeat + customer because Fresh Chile Co is superlative across the board!!!
Great product
Chilis arrived well packaged, in the past we have roasted chilis ourselves. We decided to try these. They are great and alot easier than doing all the work ourselves. Love them.
Yummy
The chili's are packaged beautifully, zip lock bags to reseal and use later. They arrived beautifully packaged as well. The chili's are roasted and peeled and the flavor is great, I ordered hot. I will order medium next time, I just take all the seeds out before using. They are delicious and will order again next year.
Great gift
I sent frozen chopped chili to my son and daughter-in-law in Missouri as a gift and they have loved it

Freezing and using Hatch green chiles
Hatch chiles freeze well. I roast them, portion them, and throw them in the freezer. Hatch chile goes great in so many things. Salsa, eggs, burritos, breakfast burrito (my 2nd fav), margaritas (my fav), ceviche, enchiladas, sausage gravy with biscuits, green chile cornbread. Unfortunately I donβt have recipes for most of these because Iβm just trying to remember things Iβve eaten. And now I just miss Santa Fe, NM.

Frozen alternative to canned green chili
Not canned. Canned is all awful. In the frozen section *Stinkin Good* brand tastes great.

Frozen vs canned green chile preference
I've always used frozen, if it's not available to be fresh. If done at home, I'd highly suggest vacuum sealing bags with smaller portions. It defrosts in warm water quickly.

Jarred Hatch green chile heat and use
I used them for green chili and they are way better than frozen. I love spicy food and I would say they are just the right amount of heat. Maybe a bit warm for someone not used to heat.

Frozen green chile pouch sizes and uses
Costco sells frozen green chile (peeled and chopped, chile only without salt or garlic or anything) both in a giant block and in a pack of convenient smallish pouches. The little pouches are just about the perfect amount for a pepperoni pizza or 2 cheeseburgers.

Critique of 505 jarred green chile
I appreciate 505 for spreading Hatch chiles further outside of NM, but unfortunately any canned or jarred varieties are going to add preservatives that really rob the chiles of their best flavors. I always keep my freezer stocked with the fresh stuff!
