Product Insights
This 16-oz clear squeeze bottle is an inexpensive ($2.99) jar-to-bottle decant for cooled Hatch chile sauce and any room-temperature condiment: its narrow tip precisely places chunky salsa on tacos, eggs, or plates, holds a full 16-oz jar, and seals with a screw cap, though some units ship missing the tip cap. The main tradeoff is durability and effort: it is hand-wash only, cannot be hot-filled (plastic softens around 140°F), and thicker sauces need a hard, sometimes two-handed squeeze—stiffer than foodservice soft-polyethylene bottles. It undercuts comparable foodservice bottles (about half the $6.92 single-unit price, or ~$1.65 per bottle at case rate), but it arrives empty and unbranded, lacks NSF certification, and its ~40 mm opening doesn't fit standard 38-400 caps, so replacement lids require measuring the collar.
Verified claims
- Tip precision
- Buyers report the narrow tapered nozzle places sauce and salsa precisely on food like tacos and eggs, and it handles moderately chunky sauces.
- Squeeze effort
- Buyers report thicker sauces require extra hand effort, and one review calls the bottle hard to squeeze.
- Sealing
- Some bottles ship missing the nozzle tip cap, but the screw closure itself seals well.
- Everyday use
- Holds an entire 16 oz jar and suits ketchup, BBQ sauce, oil, dressings, and other condiments.
- Chunky salsa flow
- Sized for a full 16 oz jar and handles moderately chunky salsa through the tip; large, firm chunks may clog the narrow nozzle.
- Powder mixing
- Buyers report mixing dry seasoning powders into sauce in the bottle.
- Seal
- Screw cap seals without spilling; some buyers report a missing tip cap.
- Heat tolerance
- Not for hot-fill or hot dishwasher cycles; plastic body softens below boiling.
- Capacity
- A full 16 oz jar of sauce or Hatchup decants completely into this 16 oz bottle.
- Value
- At $2.99, this empty bottle is an inexpensive reusable 16 oz condiment dispenser; reviewers call it a great price and a great value.
- Care
- Hand-wash only; sauces should cool before hot-fill refills.
- Leak risk
- Buyers report the unsealed nozzle leaks or dries out in a bag
- Cap
- The opening size isn't published; comparable bottles use about 40 mm, while standard retail condiment caps are often 38-400, so measure the collar before buying replacement lids.
- Branding
- Ships unbranded now — the logo shown in listing photos is gone.
- Material
- Food-grade PE/PP squeeze bottle for sauces.
- Hot-fill
- Do not hot-fill: cool sauces first; PET softens around 140°F, LDPE around 176°F
- Dishwasher safety
- Hand-wash only: repeated hot dishwasher cycles can warp the bottle and degrade the cap seal
- Intended use
- A 16 oz jar-to-bottle decant for cooled sauce; any room-temperature condiment works.
- Price per bottle
- $2.99 per bottle for a reusable 16 oz clear condiment bottle.
- Fridge door fit
- 0.16 lb empty; about 1 lb full — light enough for a plastic fridge-door shelf.
- Heat limits
- Hand-wash only; hot-fill can warp the plastic (PET softens around 140°F, LDPE around 176°F).
- Use cases
- Holds a full 16 oz sauce jar and works for any condiment
- Dispensing
- Buyers find the tip precise for salsa, though the squeeze is stiff
- Kitchen fit
- Holds a full 16 oz jar of sauce and handles chunky salsas; it also works for other condiments.
- Opening size
- Comparable 16 oz foodservice squeeze bottles in this style use a 40 mm opening, though this bottle's exact opening isn't published.
- Plastic limits
- Buyers report it can be hard to squeeze with thicker sauces; hand-wash only, no hot-fill.
- Use range
- Not Hatch-specific — works for ketchup, BBQ sauce, oil, dressings, syrups, even salsa.
- What's included
- Bottle ships empty and unbranded — no sauce inside, no logo on the bottle.
- Arrives empty
- Buyers report the bottle ships empty despite the listing photo showing sauce being dispensed
- Packaging details
- Buyers report the delivered bottle lacks the red tip cap and Fresh Chile logo shown in photos
- Price context
- $2.99 buys an empty reusable 16 oz clear squeeze bottle; reviewers describe it as a great price and great value.
- Content visibility
- The clear bottle lets you see what is inside and how much remains without a label.
- Food safety disclosure
- The listing does not disclose the plastic resin or whether this specific bottle is BPA-free and food-grade certified; it is sold specifically for food use.

Put sauces and salsas exactly where you want them
Shoppers use this 16 oz clear squeeze bottle to dispense Hatch chile sauces and other salsas onto food like tacos and eggs, and customers say the tapered nozzle targets the sauce precisely. Reviewers mention it can take extra hand effort with thicker sauces, and some orders arrived without the nozzle tip cap, leaving the spout unsealed and prone to leaks during travel or bag carry.[1]
Refill a whole jar at once
The 16-oz squeeze bottle is big enough to hold an entire jar of Hatchup or sauce, so you can transfer everything in one go and keep serving from a single container. Customers describe this one-and-done refill as a convenient way to restock the bottle.[1]
Mixing dry seasonings into sauce
One reviewer reportedly used this squeeze bottle to blend a powder seasoning mix into sauce. They found the bottle's opening and squeeze action helped incorporate the dry seasoning evenly.[1]

Exactly what I was wanting!
Exactly what I was wanting!! Thanks so much!
Great idea
I like the squeeze bottle BUT it didn’t have the cap so only two stars and my order was sent back and had to be reordered!
No cap when I finally got it and I also used it for the last review and the fact it had to be sent twice.
Well made
Perfect for getting salsas right where you want it!
What? No Logo Anymore?
These used to come with the company logo (and that older version is still shown in a bunch of photos on this site). Come on guys, put the logo back on or sell a sticker that I can put on them to promote your company :)
squeeze bootle
it was oky
No Logo
Bummed they didn't have the Logo,
It was great to have for my hatch chile ketchup
Squeeze Bottle….
What can a person say?? A clear plastic squeeze bottle works as advertised. A very handy thing about it is that it will hold an entire bottle of Hatchup. The cap seals well. You don’t need a label because you can easily see what resides within.
No Logo
A big disappointment here ... ordered these when I was notified they were back in stock and received them today and realized they don't have the company logo on them like the original. The second photo shows one with the logo and the first without but I didn't even look at the images when I ordered (just added them to my cart as a "bundle and save"). Honestly, why even sell them if they don't have the logo???
