Product Insights
These frozen Hatch Green Chile Rellenos deliver the genuine New Mexican relleno experience year-round: flame-roasted, hand-peeled NuMex Big Jim chiles—mild, thick-walled pods developed at NMSU—stuffed with creamy Monterey Jack, coated in a whipped-egg torta de huevo batter, then flash-frozen after frying. The core promise is a ten-minute, fully cooked dinner that preserves the smoky-sweet character of Hatch's single August harvest, shipping frozen with dry ice and keeping up to a year. The main tradeoff is convenience versus authenticity: buyers find them good but oily, especially when air-fried, and not a match for homemade; they arrive unsauced, letting you choose red or green, and at roughly $6.33 per piece, each 3.3-ounce relleno serves as a plated main. This is a frozen approximation of a regional specialty, not the fresh-fried original.
Verified claims
- Chile identity
- The green chiles are NuMex Big Jim, NMSU's 1975 hybrid of New Mexican and Peruvian peppers, named for Jim Lytle.
- Heat
- Green Big Jim pods are mild — most run around 500 SHU, far below jalapeño heat.
- Relleno structure
- Big Jim pods run over 14 inches with thick walls made for stuffing and frying.
- Relleno tradition
- Big Jim marks these as New Mexican chiles rellenos, not the poblano-based Mexican version.
- Roasting
- Flame-roasted and hand-peeled; the roast is where the smoky-sweet flavor comes from.
- Hatch seasonality
- The frozen dozen preserves Hatch's single annual harvest, peaking in August
- Red or green
- Serve them under red or green chile sauce with cheese, the way Chope's and Nellie's plate them.
- Oil and sauce
- Buyers who air-fry these report the crust comes out oily.
- Roast & peel
- Flame-roasted and hand-peeled, Big Jim's grassy pod turns smoky, sweet, and earthy.
- Canned contrast
- Most canned green chile is non-Hatch Anaheim packed in vinegar brine; this is flame-roasted Big Jim instead.
- Peak-harvest freeze
- Flash-frozen after frying, these carry Hatch's six-week late-summer harvest year-round.
- Batter
- The crispy shell is torta de huevo, northern New Mexico's whipped-egg batter, not a flour breading.
- Cheese
- The filling is creamy Monterey Jack, New Mexico's classic relleno cheese, not queso Oaxaca.
- Frozen shipping
- Ships frozen in an insulated cooler with dry ice, guaranteed to arrive frozen.
- Frozen tradeoffs
- Buyers find the frozen dozen good and convenient but oily, and not a match for homemade Hatch.
- Freezer storage
- Fully cooked, flash-frozen rellenos keep up to 12 months at 0°F.
- Cooking technique
- Rellenos arrive fully cooked, so the listed pan-fry, deep-fry and air-fry times just re-crisp them.
- Reheating
- Oven-bake frozen rellenos at 375°F, flipping once; check for a crisp coating at 15–20 minutes.
- Homemade comparison
- Buyers rate the frozen rellenos good, but not a match for homemade Hatch versions.
- Per-piece value
- At the listed $75.95 price, each of the 12 rellenos is about $6.33; at the $70 sale price, about $5.83.
- Serving math
- The 40 oz box is about 3.3 oz per relleno; buyers serve one as a plated main with rice and beans.
- Trader Joe's comparison
- Ships unsauced, avoiding the watery included sauce buyers fault in Trader Joe's frozen rellenos.
- Labor saved
- Roasting, peeling, stuffing, and frying finish before freezing — home cooks only re-crisp for a ten-minute dinner.

Completely banger
Completely banger. Pulled 3 out of the deep freeze today and cooked em up in the air fryer at 400 for 9 mins, flipped half way, then gave a couple extra minutes at 450 “max crisp” mode. Doused them with some 575 and the hatch went down the hatch. Wish i had a couple dozen more in the freezer. Next year.
So delicious!
My husband purchased these rellenos. We put them in the freezer and kind of forgot about them. I remembered yesterday and prepared a few. They are absolutely delicious! Oh my!!!
It is so good
It is so good. I even put it on my HotDogs It is so delicious
My wife always orders a Relleno when when we go out
My wife always orders a Relleno when we go out to eat. These are top level in flavor. We will be ordering another dozen so we have a pack in the freezer at all times.
Fantastic
Fantastic
Love your chile rellenos
Love your chile rellenos. I've found the best way to heat them without frying is 3 minutes un the microwave and about 8 minutes at 400 degrees in an air fryer. Nice a crisp coating. Melted cheese oozing. My favorite way to enjoy is as a chili relleno burrito with rice and 2 spoonfuls of your chunky green hatch chili salsa.
Corn dog rellenos
I purchased a dozen rellenos only to find out they coat them with corn dog batter. WTF! Not only that but when I received them there was NO ice in the container, was afraid to eat them but when I called about it, they assured me it was safe to consume them, which I did. Didn't enjoy them though, can't understand where these people who deal with food products Latin related can try to push this on their customers. Shame, shame, shame
Delicious Chilie Rellanos shipped with care 5 stars!
These chilie rellanos were absolutely so delicious! My family loved them, and I intend to make them an annual tradition. Highly recommend.

There is too much dough on the rellenos and I wasn't expecting a mouth full of dough
There is too much dough on the rellenos and I wasn't expecting a mouth full of dough.
Mixed results
Chiles had good heat, flavor, and batter but were very thin (not meaty) and were not peeled. Skin made them hard to cut even with steak knife. Could not chew skin up so had to spit out some bites. Chiles also had too many seeds—seemed more seeds than chile.
I don’t know how to cook them wit the husk being tough
I don’t know how to cook them wit the husk being tough. Too tough to cut with a knife. Otherwise, I love your products. Sincerely, Lisa
The chilies were very tough
The chilies were very tough. And the breading was not a good egg breading that I’m used to getting in New Mexico? I was very disappointed.
Incredible flavor
Incredible flavor..I hate to share them with company. Bit ido sparingly
Wonderful rellenos
Great flavor,great taste
Chil reviews
1. Remove the seeds from the chilies. Kid don’t like, wife did not like seeds, I dealt with them. I and the wife prefer plobano chillies. I like spicy, but a couple of these were hot. 🥵 I like egg batter not sure what these are. Pretty expensive for what you get. I would personally probably try them one more time if they at least remove the seeds.
We love
We love these
chilies were very chewy
I’ll probably buy again but this batch the chilies were very chewy. It might’ve been a 30 seconds in the microwave.I’m going to let them thaw out on the counter next time.
Unfortunately not a great experience so tough we couldn't cut them with a fork or a knife
We were super excited to try your Chile reynos which we did yesterday the chilies are so tough we couldn't cut through them the fork and when we bit through them there were stringy and tough basically we ate the outside of them through the rest of the way I would really like my money back or maybe you could shoot me some red chilies to go with my green chilies so that I could have a contrast but it was quite a waste of money terrible so sorry cuz I like your company . I would like a credit or some red roasted chilies have a new address. Tami
I found them almost tasteless will not be ordering them again.
I love chile rellenos and wanted to love these
I love chile rellenos and wanted to love these. Sadly, we just didn’t. They weren’t terrible. Maybe we should have smothered them in Christmas sauce. We will try again, smothered.
i expected no
i expected no seeds
Not worth the money to me.
I did what it said from the instructions leave it out for 10 minutes to thaw and then fry it. Well the inside was still like runny batter and the green chile was almost chewy. Not anything like I remember a chile relleno.
Yeah
Yeah, I really liked these guys---
GOOD STUFF
I purchased these rellenos for my wife who always gets them at our favorite Mexican food joint. She loves them and enjoys cooking them. We will buy more un the future I am sure.
Good
I LOVE THESE!
The Hatch Green Chile Rellenos are better than the ones I can make at home---hands down. I will never go through the roasting, peeling, stuffing, battering, frying mess again because these are fabulous. Some are large enough to make a meal for one person when paired with black beans and yellow rice. Sometimes a person can eat two smaller ones. But the price is absolutely worth it when you divide the number of meals you can get out of a dozen. I will buy these again and again,.
Perfect
Great Product, as described, I agree with Kent Rollins
Received our order on time and very well packaged. I cooked up a few immediately, I'm not mad at all Randy and the crew delivered!
Chilie rellenos
We love your products
Only complaint is that they were somewhat freezer burned.
Awesome customer service
So i had some questions and concerns. They responded by calling me and helping me nicely, quickly and we're very good listeners. Thank you very much
Love them!
Easy to cook Great flavor
Package was bad ,ice was gone ,plus too many seeds in chiles
The best chile rellenos I never had Thanks
Amazing!!
Taste amazing!! Every two months I get my shipment
Excellent gift for my active duty son who was raised in Las Cruces. I realize with shipping, cost is necessary, but very prohibitive for me to give as frequently as I’d like. My son loves them, I wish there were an extra hot option
Glen
They were awesome! Fixing to order again
Awesome goodness
I received my first order yesterday and all I can say is dynamite. They were a lot larger than I expected! I prepared rice/beans and garnished with mama's salsa ,Pico de Gallo, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and a sprinkle of Mexican cheese. DA BOMB!
Excellent just prepare as directed
I was born and raised in New Mexico, which was not chille rellenos. Will never buy again.
Taste was excellent
Very good
These are very tasty. Would definitely order again. Add some green Big Jim Hatch green chile and these are “Wow” factor…excellent
SCAM!
Don't know Star rating as my order never arrived from order placement on 12-3-23. Tried to find out about order and got an auto pay on paypal for another $70.21 on 12-27-23. Tried to call number on website twice but got dumped to Facebook but I don't have a Facebook account. Went on PayPal and cancelled auto renew. Submitted a request for refund today 12-27. Really don't expect to hear back from them so I will go through the detailed dispute process at Paypal within a week if I get zero response. Sorry for the review but this is what happens when you don't even answer the phone due to (You guessed it, High volume). What POS's. jack Bland
worst ever
I love chili relleno. I order them 90% of the time when i go to a restaurant. These are terrible. Mostly breading, the chilies are small and tough, very little cheese. I eventually threw away what was left. I really feel scammed.
Batter a bit thick and needs more cheese. Tasty though. We added our own sauce. I will send the recipe if you like.
Great restaurant results at home in airfare !!! Love them !
One
Don’t know, I threw them away.
Chille Rellenos
I didn't get to try them because they were ruined when I received them. The box was ripped open and re-taped and the co.ntents were hot
Rellenos are tasty but too bready
Hatch Green Chile Rellenos
I really expected more cheese in them~ When heating them up they fall apart too easily~ They are good tasting but, something is missing~
Supper good
Super good and did. It disappoint. Little pricy but over all good
shipping failure
They arrived like soup in a bag. The dry ice had totally dissapated and they were not only not frozen but actually warm like they had just come out of an oven. I realize this was nothing you did wrong but a shipping problem you need to know about I think. Sorry to complain but I had to throw the whole bag away.
A dream!!
Crispy and delish!!!
good tasting
taste good
Chile
I have only tried pan frying. I am going to try baking it then frying, maybe the pepper will be more tender and I like the coating to be crispy. I have tried a little spoonful of the sauce. Haven’t tried the honey.
Best I’ve ever had
Just received mine today cooked some this evening Best rellenos I’ve ever had will be buying again these are great people don’t hesitate get them now
Shipping Process Very Poor
The product (Rellenos & Chimichangas) must be good, the shipping process is NOT! Twice I have ordered, shipping takes two to three days. there was no dry ice, just insulation around what I am sure was frozen when shipped. By the time they arrived on my porch (and they did NOT sit out in the heat either) they were thawed and all mushy. When I tried to call customer service it took several days for a call back and the order resent. The second order was packaged the same exact way with the same ugly result. I tried to call Customer Service last week, never got a return call. While the canned pepper products are great, I can't say the same for shipping of these frozen products, nor the customer service responsiveness. By the way, these items shipped from OHIO, NOT New Mexico!!! For us Texans, that's a long way to get around the barn, with frozen items.
Hatch Green Chile Rellenos
These are great! Easy to prepare. Delicious!
Tasty

Chili rellenos
These were sooo good. They were sent frozen and were still frozen when they arrived, I was actually fearful as we live in rural Montana, but no problem. I fixed them for my sister when she came to visit. She loves New Mexican food as much as I do. We both thought they were awesome and so much better than anything you can get in any Mexican restaurant, ( especially here in MT.). Totally recommend them, what a great treat!!!
Lousy rellenos......
I'm a native New Mexican of 76 years and know the pleasure /taste of real Hatch Chile . I have eaten thousands of chile rellenos during that time, and have enjoyed them immensley . I moved to Arizona a lew years ago and really missed good , real Hatch chile. I was delighted to find a source for the real deal and happily ordered rellenos and tamales from The Fresh Chile company. I was horribly dissapointed by the relllenos I received. They were a stringey, tough, tasteless and horrible excuse for Hatch Chile. Wouldn't even qualify the poor chile in Claifornia or Texas. I discarded the unsed amount and bid good riddance. A huge dissapointment from your otherwise good products. Perhaps you might consiner another variety of green to make these and use another brand/flavor of cheese .
Pretty good for something to make quickly from the freezer but not as good as our local restaurants.
Best there is!
My New Mexico and Colorado roots have made me a connoisseur of Green Chile Rellenos greatness, and these qualify at the top for size and consistency. Will continue to order and consume for the rest of our lives.
Chile Relleno
They were pretty good. Heated in an air fryer for nine minutes. Not as good as our local restaurant but good for home. I topped them with red fresh chile sauce!
Bland
I had anticipated a relleno with a sharper taste with cheddar cheese. The relleno used some type of white cheese that had a very dry stale taste. Now the pepper had a good texture and provided the heat we were looking for. This relleno did not deliver the taste of the relleno that we have enjoyed in Texas and California. Disappointed!
Love them
Second order and I doubled up. A nice alternative to the poblano rellenos I used get from Friedas pre covid at my grocery store or directly in mass. No loner in production i think Goya may have taken over. They look so very close. Any way to verify. I enjoy both so much. For singles cooking for one is a drag. This lets me enjoy rellenos at will. I came to enjoy Hatch chilis during a trip to Santa Fe right before covid.
Very good. We all enjoyed them.
Chile Rellenos
These are the best! I’ve ordered them 4 times and planning on ordering again
A Taste of Home
Both my wife & I are thoroughly enjoying the Hatch Green Chile Rellenos. My wife’s family is from Las Cruces, NM. This is a much appreciated genuine taste of home. Thank You
Hatch Green Chile Rellenos
i love these so much! They are so tasty. Especially topped with Fresh Hatch Red Chile Sauce.
Awesome rellanos!
These are fantastic and since they cook from a frozen state, you can have them cooked in an air fryer and ready in less than 10 minutes!
Chile Rellenos
They were very tough.
Still good, but this batch is smaller.
I have really loved these rellenos. Much easier than trying to make from scratch. I had to take off one star as this batch is almost 25% smaller than previous rellenos. Not as impressed by the smaller size.
As Good as Homemade, Almost...
Of course the chiles are first-rate, but the filling and coating are remarkably good as well -- they crisp up well when reheated and have the combination of textures and tastes that make rellenos so appealing. And as anyone who makes them from scratch can attest, the convenience of being able just to pull a few out of the freezer and have them on the table in minutes instead of spending hours whipping up a batch makes them an undeniable winner!
The Perfect Chile Relleno!
Answers my quest for the perfect chile relleno. Superior to restaurant and other frozen brands.
chilis
Delish I get them again I put the green chili sauce on top and melt with cheese under the broiler
Chill Rellenos
Chilie rellenos are delicious!!
Great relleno’s
Excellent flavor. East to prepare.
Our friends loved the gift
Our friends loved the gift of chile rellenos and green chile.....
Love those Hatch Chiles...!!!
Love Those Hatch Chiles...!
Took some of Las Cruces to Colorado
I was in LC last week and stopped by the Fresh Chile Company to pick up some of my favorite products before heading back to Colorado. The rellenos have been on my “to order” list for awhile so I picked up a dozen. Kept them in my hotel room freezer overnight and popped them into my cooler the next day for my 11 hour drive home. Watching my weight, I air fried these. Oh my goodness, they are FANTASTIC! My only regret is that I had brought my small cooler on this trip! I will definitely bring a bigger one next trip home!
RELLENOS
The flavor of the chili was great but any suggestions on cooking so the chiles aren't so tough .
Southwest Style Rellenos!
I grew up in Colorado, eating southwest style chili rellenos at a favorite Mexican restaurant called Mission Trujillo. When I moved to California, I was so disappointed in the rellenos— the style here is very different— the stuffed chili is coated in a thick (soggy) layer of egg. When I saw these, I had to order them, and I wasn’t disappointed! They are the crispy style I remember and I love the flavor and texture. They brown up beautifully in a little oil, or you can deep fry them. Pair them with one of The Fresh Chili Company’s delicious sauces, and add a dollop of sour cream. Delicious!
Just great thank you.
Arrived on time & still frozen
Awesome product
These are so easy to cook and are very good!!! You can’t get this quality in Rhode Island!!!
ALSO YUMMY. OR YUMMIER!
VERY, VERY, YUMMY! BETTER THAN ANY RESTAURANT IN LAS CRUCES!
Rellenos the easy way
Love these. (Better than any Texas restaurant!) I do two at a time and this works perfectly.
Delicious
They are just right!
HOW DO I LIKE WHAT I RECEIVED !!!!
A LITTLE TOO MUCH BREADING ! OTHER WISE TASTEY ! ONLY HAD FOUR IN TWO MEALS SOFAR ! JUST TOO MANY LOCAL VENDORS FOR OTHER ITEMS ! I'M IN EDGEWOOD AND HAVE ACCESS TO A LOT OF HOME MADE MEXICAN FOOD AND IT'S ALL VERY GOOD!!!! CRAIG VILLIARD
So good
I love these and will be ordering them again and again.
Great!
I was excited to try these and they didn’t disappoint! I made a taco as I had seen a guy on the internet made with them and wow! They were great! I also ate them with some green salsa and sour cream and cheese! Again a smash!
Almost as good as fresh!
I wish I could eat them fresh from the oven, but mail-order is a LOT better than what I can get locally here in South Carolina. I was surprised to find seeds in the rellenos. I prefer them to be scraped free of seeds. But still, the flavor was good, and the service was unbeatable.
excellent!
I will be keeping these stocked in my freezer...so good!
Awesome Chile Rellenos
I was skeptical at first but now I’m a believer!! I’ll definitely be reordering, Thank You Fresh Chille Co.
No package received.
No package delivered
Can't wait to eat your Chile Rellenos
I haven't cooked them yet because I have a special occasion coming up but I promise I will send you feedback.
Need better shipper
I ordered the chile rellenos twice, both time what I received was just a hot mess as it took more than 8 days to arrive so I don't have any idea as to what they taste like. while the other items I order from FCC are great you need to do something about shipping perishable items. Until that changes no more chile rellenos for me.
Rellenos
Awesome if you follow directions, wish I had a deep fryer , good products here !
Totally Defrosted and Smelly
Your ordered arrived totally defrosted without any remaining "freezing" materials. Theyy didn't sit on our front porch for more than 5 mins. We are waiting for a replacement order. We have had difficulties getting updates through the web site phone number as well as through messenger. We're hoping things will work this time as we are looking forward to eating some great rellanos.
so good!
Even tho I live in Santa Fe and can make or buy chile rellenos here, these were top notch. Much better than I make. Plump and crunchy! You will love them!
A real favorite
These are always on the wish list for gifts
Chile Rellenos
Very good especially with Jalapeño Chile Sauce on top 😝
Hatch Chile Rellenos
I tried a couple of the Hatch Chile Rellenos so far and am very pleased with the product. I also learned how to better make my own from their website video.
Love Them
Call Me Lazy... Easier than making them yourself and just as good.... The price is comparable to buying them from a store or restaurant. GUUUD STUFF....
Monique ranallo
I retrieved the peppers as soon as they hit my door and immediately refrigerated as they didn't not seem very cold. That evening I cooked one on top of the stove in oil. The peppers coating fell off and did not stay in tact. The next day I deep fried the pepper at work and noticed the breading was already coming off. I liked the pepper but disappointed in delivery and the end result as both times the breading did not hold up.
Chile Rellenos
These chile rellenos are legit. We cook them on a rack using the convection setting on the microwave. They come out crispy and hot! The coating is not too thick and the peppers have great flavor. No way we will ever find chile rellenos as good as these at any restaurant outside of NM. We. Are. HOOKED!
Yum!
We ordered these at the recommendation of friends/long-time customers and they didn’t steer us wrong! Thanks for a yummy dinner treat!
Excellent Chile Rellenos in the Air Fryer
The Chile Rellenos came out nice and crispy from the Air Fryer. Easy.
Fabulous
The chile rellenos are delicious! I will be buying more.
Food
Taste great. Easy to prepare
Lonnie
Definitely delicious. The batter is wonderful. I would love to have the recipe for other things I haven’t had the chimichangas yet
WOW!
WOW!
Rellenos
Best we're ever tasted!!!
Way too much batter, not nearly enough green chili.
I mostly liked the idea of a superior product and am very disappointed. I have to add alotto even serve these.
Love These!
Having lived in Denver for so many years I had fabulous Mexican food anytime I wanted. Now that I no longer live there, I'm so glad I discovered The Fresh Chile Co. I now can make wonderful dishes at home. I recommend air frying the chile rellenos as I have found it's the best way to go. For the two of us I air fry four rellenos at 400 degrees for 12 minutes and they are fabulous. I lost my sense of taste in 2020 due to Covid, but some flavors kind of come through. These rellenos are one of those foods I can pretty well enjoy. It's not 100%, but it's enough to satisfy my taste buds. Thank goodness! The chilies are substantial and the air fryer gives a "crisp" that helps satisfy because it's a texture. I'll always keep these in the freezer!
Amazing Product
We had these last night and they were amazing. I air fried them and they were crispy on the outside and warm and smooth on the inside. I would love to buy batch of Hot or XHot Rellenos. Is that possible???
RELLENOS
VERY GOOD , ALMOST LIKE HOME.
Frozen Rellenos, Why Bother?
I’ll tell you why, because they’re damn good. Three of those puppies in a litlle sizzlin’ oil and I’m on top of my game. Breading was crispy, and the chiles tasted like Pablito picked ‘em yesterday. Topped with your exquisite Red Chile Sauce (just the right mix of Garlic and Chiles), and hell, I don’t even need viagra. The wife is smilin’ and life is good. Yeehaw.
Chili rellenos
This the second time I've purchased chili rellenos , awesome as is any products I've purchased !!
So Good!!
Love the texture and flavor of the chile reillenos So glad I chose delivery every two months.
Good but not Great.
These were just good not great; I was expecting great as I had awaited their arrival with great anticipation. I cooked up 3 of them for my lunch and they had almost no chilie flavor, not even a hint of heat. I like my Chilie Relleno's with a bit of heat to them, that's what makes them great. I won't be buying them again.
Yummy Chile Rellenos
Easy to prepare in my air fryer and very tasty. I will continue to purchase these chile rellenos!
Can’t get enough!
I ordered the Hatch Chili Rellenos and had no idea they were so addictive. My husband and I love them! We had them for dinner and we decided while eating them we didn’t order enough. That problem was quickly resolved.haha Highly recommend them
Will buy again
I set the amount I wanted to eat out for out for about a hour to defrost and put them in the air fryer for 10 min on 400° .They were delicious 😋😋
Chile rellenos are an excellent product!
Have ordered the rellenos multiple times. Always tasty. Appreciate the new labeling and packaging as we only use 4 each meal. Instead of frying them, I reheat them on pizza stone in the oven at 450 degrees for 18 minutes, turning them over midway.. They turn out great.
Delicious!
These rellenos have a perfect balance of cheese, chilies and egg breading. They are super easy to heat and eat. Need meat? Pour your favorite chili on top.
Hatch Chile Rellenos Are the Best
These are the best I've been able to find without going to the trouble to make my own.
Enjoyed them
They are good. A little dry and should have a sauce over top and grated cheese. But enchilada sauce is too harsh. I made a chicken caldo based sauce with bits of tomato, chilis, onions and cilantro and thickened it with cornstarch like family used to make. Enjoyed them! Best thing next to homemade!
THE BEST
I LOVE THE RELLENOS BUT THE COST IS JUST WAY TO MUCH FOR WHAT WE GET
Disappointing
We were disappointed in the rellenos. The chilis had no heat and the breading was thick and cake like. We were hoping for thin and crispy.
Hatch chile rellenos
These chile rellenos have great flavor and a light batter.
Chile rellenos
This takes the hard part out of enjoying good chile rellenos. They are good tasting and well made. This is my second order from FCC.
Poor package
Love the product but this time all 10 came packaged in one bag. Causing them to stick to each other and damaging the coating. For this reason I canceled future deliveries.
Authentic New Mexican good eats
Hatch Chile Rellenos came frozen and packed in dry ice to preserve freshmen during shipping (same day shipping from New Mexico to California). The batter was firmly adhered and very tasteful and the cheese filling was great. The best way I found to cook these was to micro wave two minutes per side and then brown over medium heat with butter in my cast iron skillet. I served these with The Fresh Chile Co.'s Red and Green Chile Sauce
Loved them!
These were the best that my husband had ever tasted and he grew up in Arizona! Cooking our last ones now.
Hatch Chili rellenos
Fast and Easy to prepare and very tasty. Did ours in an air fryer
GREAT CHILI RELLENOS
I love a good chili relleno. These rellenos are some of the very best I have ever eaten. I highly recommend them!
Chili Rellanos
Packaging: Needs work. Company should invest in styrofoam containers as the cardboard box on two occasions got damaged and shipping was delayed both times. First shipment was replaced due to spoilage. Second shipment also delayed but fortunately was saved. Flavor: Excellent. Side with rice and beans and it's a great meal.
Great Rellenos
These are fantastic! Great crunch on the breading, peppers are perfect. If you like Chile Rellenos you will love these.
Chili rellenos
The rellenos are tasty but when we received them they were room temperature with no ice in the package. Also the package that they come in is unsealed so you need to be careful how you take the package out of the box.
Chile Rellenos
These are by far the best Chile Rellenos I have ever had, I definitely will be ordering more!
Hatch Chile Rellenos
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about these rellenos. Were nicely packaged and came just like they said they would. Air fried the first couple, added some green chili sauce, avocado and tomatoes. Absolutely delicious. Thanks for such tasty product.
Chile Rellenos
These are the BEST EVER! Flavor absolutely takes your breath away!
Delicious
My husband loves chili rellenos and so do I. Very delish!!
rellenos
These are a hit when we have mexican food night. Rellenos and buffalo/green chilli enchilladas.
Hatch Chile Rellenos, what could be better!
This was the first time ordering the rellenos, but it won't be the last! These yummy cheese filled peppers were garnished with my homemade enchilada sauce! They are now a big family favorite.
Mmmm
Holy crap these were good I’m getting more love love love them thanks
5 Stars
We ordered a dozen of the Rellenos and they are fantastic. Simple to fix and the taste is wonderful. Thank You for this product.
5 Stars
These arrived fresh and well packed. They are delicious!! I was hesitant to order these but I love chili rellenos and couldn’t resist. I’m so glad I did! I give these a 5 star and highly recommend them! I will buy again!

Air fried chiles rellenos are flavorful but extremely oily
I made them in the air fryer. Plated the sauce, and then set them on top of the sauce. The crust was absurdly oily.

Baked chiles rellenos are crispy but oily with watery sauce
I def bake mine. Still a bit oily but way crispier than you’d get in the microwave. I like them but it’s not something I always pick up. I do also add my own beans and rice on the side cuz the sauce can be a bit too liquidy than I like.

Frozen chile rellenos are pretty good but not like homemade
I actually thought for Frozen chile rellenos they were pretty good. Nothing would ever beat an actual homemade one. But it's very hard to find hatch green chilies in the stores here, which is what I grew up using for chile rellenos.
