I’m not really a jam person. But this combination intrigued me…and man, strawberry banana with a kick is where it’s at! I could drink this stuff (and I work with cocktails for a living so just watch me) but the consistency will surprise you at first. It’s more like a spread…not seeded etc but with those cooked flavors. Will take you back to childhood and then kick you (gently) into adulthood. Jenna’s Jams & Jellies | Hatch Chile Strawberry Banana Jam. While the taste if pleasing, the texture is off putting. It's not jelly or jam consistency. it is pure baby food or a sauce. I'm not sure what I will do with it but it's so not jam. What a shame.

This is the only Jam that I've opened and tried so far, but I LOVE it! It's great on peanut butter sandwiches and as a topping for toasted bagels. I've also topped vanilla Ice Cream with it. Yep, I may very well like this a bit "too much"! :D ... Thanks Jenna!
