Husband uses these on everything! Starting with breakfast! Most every meal is better with a spoonful or two. He has, pretty much, replaced his jalapeno on everything habitat with these chilies.
Bad customer service
I’ve ordered twice from fresh chile. Each time I didn’t get what I ordered. The second time 33% of what I ordered wasn’t there and was replaced with “the same thing but thicker” they told me what I ordered was out of stock. when looking there was not the case it was STILL showing in stock. It’s not worth the price if the company can’t get you the correct order. they’ve also quit responding to emails.

I ordered several jars of these as well. The medium green chilies are pretty good, but a little bland. I also ordered a jar of the red and green hot Sandia chile version, and that was much more flavorful. There's also an extra hot Matador version that I'd like to try. If you're looking for a little more flavor, they also offer salsas, but they obviously won't be as thick. I ordered a red enchilada sauce that I haven't tried yet. I would definitely recommend the red and green mixed chile version to anyone who's looking for something more pepper-forward in flavor and thicker than salsa.

I found something online that mentioned chicken base and what they put into their powdered chicken base. They does not mean the company you're referring to. But I would think the ingredients would be similar except there may be some sugar in it.
