Wrong Product
Ordered medium and they sent hot. Contacted them and they immediately recognized the error and resent medium. Would give 5 stars except for the shipping error.
Fresh Is Best
I’ve been able to use the chili powder in a few dishes now and the fresh flavor is noticeable. I’m glad I was able to get enough to last for a few months. Not going back to grocery store bought.

Medium Green and Red Hatch Chile Powders. Too Mild, No Kick.
I got the Medium green hatch and red hatch chile powders, plus a jar of the medium chunky salsa. The salsa was quite good and had an appropriate amount of heat. The powders were nearly flavorless and had the heat of bell peppers, which was rather disappointing. The purpose of my order was to get the chile powders, because the Kroger brand Green Hatch Chile tortilla chips sometimes lack sufficient flavor, so I would supplement them with my own powder mixture (green and red powders, garlic powder, and onion powder). I've now ordered the hot hatch chile powders (green and red). We'll see how those do.
Have loved all the fresh chili hatch has the offer. flavor and heat that takes your tongue too far away places the heat and flavor last doesn’t disappear like a magic trick love all the chili flavors and products will order again.

Adds another layer of flavor to most anything, especially when heated up per the instructions. The medium adds just the right amount of heat. I'm looking forward to trying it in my vegetarian chili!

I think adding a few teaspoons of Hatch Red Chile Powder would be a time-saver. Ordinarily, I'd soak whole dried chilies, sieve them, then add them to the pot of chili. I've agreed with friends that Hatch chilies have lots of flavor.

I bought the Hatch Red Chile powder/ medium recently and have tried it on my eggs for breakfast, as a rub for smoked pork and as a marinade for my chili Colorado. It is delicious and an easy way to add more flavor to your food. I really bought it on the off chance I run out of all my other jarred chilies, fresh red, green, and the new Abuelas sauce because running out is not an option. : )
